Low Classic

It’s always great to discover a “new to me” label that I really like. The Korean brand Low Classic is my latest find. Comparable to COS in terms of line, structure and price,  it’s been around for a few years but seems to be a Korean treasure that has so far stayed at home.  It reads like they are about to branch out and sell overseas but when I tried to register I couldn’t get it to work (the language barrier didn’t help!).  Hopefully it will be available for us to buy online soon.  In the meantime,  the website is a wealth of creativity and inspiration….

Handbag inspiration…. I LOVE the aesthetics of this bag. Not sure about how safe it would be!!

Fresh, clean and edgy, I love it….. Read what Susie Bubble has to say about it here

And One More from Robert Clergerie

I should have mentioned that this season, I’m really loving dressy brogues. I think they give a great fashion finish to an otherwise classic look. All the better if they shine ♡…. like this pair from Robert Clergerie….

New Season Robert Clergerie

This season’s collection from Robert Clergerie ticks so many boxes.  Subtle, beautifully designed shoes that are trans-seasonal (love that word) and trans-occasional (made that one up!). Investment shoes that would revive any tired wardrobe. Below are some of my favourites.  Check out the full collection here.

& Other Stories

The Swedish fashion house & Other Stories owned by H & M is a great one stop shop for fashion staples.  If you like COS (from H&M too) then you’ll love & Other stories.  It has that wonderful minimalistic architectural vibe to its clothing, brilliant jewellery and accessories, a really cool shoe collection…. and all on a high street price tag.  I love their Regent Street London store, but if that’s not on your radar, it’s available to buy here online.

I thought this a-line skirt could be a very cute addition to any (my ☺)  Winter wardrobe…

Maybe with this clever, comfortable platform…

And a pretty flower hair clip…

Or these very sweet earings…

0176736001_4_100012It’s high street that translates easily into any wardrobe.  I’m thinking black a-line skirt, opaque tights, cream leather loafers or lace up brogues, a pretty lace/silk top, a girly cardigan (sparkle would be good!!) and maybe an androgynous coat with a vintage (old!) tote bag. I’m also thinking that I wish I had the artistic talent or computer skills required to put this together visually…. but that’s another story….

I love Pinterest, my online scrapbook. It’s so clever and completely addictive. I press my “pin it” button constantly for fear that I might forget about something great and marvel in the knowledge that my web finds are safely stored for easy recall. I know it’s brilliant because I wonder how on earth I ever kept track of my online life and loves before.

My only complaint is that as time passes, my boards are getting a bit chaotic (story of my life!) and I would love to be able to group and archive some older ones. So……. while I’m waiting for Pinterest to catch up with me ☺ ……. I’m not, what you might call, “with plan” and seem to have evolved into pinning by item rather than by month. Check out Dresses, Shoes and Coats for some recent updates.

Until the next time……… xx

More Marni

marni-pink-white-black-houndstooth-flower-print-twill-dress-product-1-9623617-240724127_large_flexI am completely and utterly addicted to Marni. I love this dress.  A friend from San Fransisco has it in black and white with a giant brown flower (worn with a silk cardi and brogues, completely gorgeous).  I can’t find it anywhere on the web…. Any suggestions?? Anybody??
